Girly Magnificence from Tokyo Fashion Week

I absolutely adore these looks from Tokyo Fashion Week. Romance, lace, frills and girliness seemed a common trend in Tokyo's S/S 2011 fashion week. Which is brilliant for me as i'm a fan of super girly looks. I could wear any of these looks with some pearls and a flower in my hair and be very happy.

I love how they styled this one like a 1960's beauty queen. Complete with big hair and a sash.

Made from lace AND with a hood. Absolutely beautiful i'd love to wear this over a light coloured dress.

This would make a beautiful outfit for a day at the office. Chic but smart at the same time.

I love the detailing on the blouse. Very intricate. You could team that blouse with some white tailored trousers and a pair of heels for a night out in the summer sun.

The design of this skirt is femininity at its best. Super girly and a new take on the ever popular maxi skirt.

What's your favorite piece?

  3. Looks like there is a lot of lace going on in Tokyo, I really like the oversized bow on the first picture though that's fantastic. The detailing on the skirt in the last picture looks beautiful with all the little appliqués.
