One to watch – Eun Jeong

As you all know i'm huge lover and advocate of Asian designers. To me they offer something a bit different to western designers with their culture influencing their designs.

Eun Jeong is one of my most recent loves. She creates such beautiful designs that are utterly feminine with clean lines and flowing fabrics and so well tailored. Her origins are Korean and she has done a lot of design work in the country. Educated in the UK she achieved her MA at the prestigious Central Saint Martins and cites her east london surroundings as her inspiration with its mix of architecture, art and music.

A lot of you will never have heard of her but I think you'll be hearing a lot more about this talented up and coming designer in the near future.

  2. The multi-colored print dress is really nice, the other stuff just isn't much my liking. Though the tights have a sorta Tsumori Chisato vibe to them.

  3. She's a lot like my friend emma Bell - heavily influenced by Japanese culture. Google her.

  6. the leggings and the second to last dress are amazing. I love Asian designers, I think I feature them more than anyone else on my blog. I love the clothing coming out of Japan and Korea especially, such amazing talent right now, so much more risk taking than anywhere else

  7. i have the exact same view. I think 2011 will be the year asian designers go global. At London Fashion Week there are 2 korean designers exhibiting which is big news all this leads on from concept korea exhibiting very successfully at last years new york fashion week. Korea especially is making big strides in fashion design :)

  8. Nice! Especially love the draping in the first shot. Also like the running shoes which add practicality by encouraging ACTIVITY in the women who wear them. I have recently become annoyed by the way fashion shows women doing nothing while men are portrayed as active and engaged.
