Last Tuesday I was fortunate enough to attend the show of new up and coming brand Delada with the lovely Sherin (of Hi Fashion fame).

Delada is a contemporary clothing line designed by Russian designer Lada Komorova. The designer hails from an art background and this is evident throughout the collection.

The pieces in this stunning collection combine femininity with unique lines and shapes. Colourful prints and bold hues are the foundation of the collection. A variety of textures are used including leather, silk, organza and crepe de chine.

Design twists are ever evident such as assymetrical hems and lifted edges. The collection is rooted in a citrus colour palette interspersed with chocolate, blue-greens, black and white.
I was spellbound by this collection and I loved how the pieces were edgy but wearable, feminine but elegant. My favorite pieces were the dresses with a kick in the tail and the sumptuous leather dresses.

I also loved the accessories used and although they aren't for sale, Lada plans to extend the range to include accessories in the near future. The shoes the models wore were divine but gosh how on earth the managed to walk in them I'll never know. Personally I'm a total clutz in very high heels.

Big thanks to Sherin for taking me along. I have big love for that girl she is one of the sweetest girls I've ever met and so down to earth and easy to get along with. Everyone told me she was lovely and I have to agree.
