Emma Watson and Alberta Ferretti Launch Collaboration
Harry Potter star Emma Watson is well known for her support of eco/ethical fashion brands having previously launched collections for eco fashion brand People Tree. Now she’s joined up with luxury fashion designer Alberta Ferretti.
Ferretti is well known for her exquisite design skills which often include draping materials combined with luxe layering often in sheer materials. She is the queen of the gown and is a favorite of Italy’s high society crowd. The line is entitled ‘Pure Threads’ and is made from organic materials with a portion of the profits being donated to The People Tree Foundation which is an environmental charity.
It is available exclusively online. The collection has a boho feel to it and a distinct 70’s vibe to it. It was influenced by fashion muse/singer Jane Birkin. It comprises of five capsule pieces that would be ideal for your summer wardrobe.

this is a very nice collection, and i do love Emma! but that blouse goes for almost $700! i have to find something that's both ethical and affordable. :)
