I love twitter! Not only is it great for communicating with you guys but it's also excellent for discovering independent shops and brands.
My latest find is Lovelys Vintage Emporium. It is the brainchild of Lynnette Peck-Bateman - a journalist and wife of Big Brother 1's Nasty Nick. Although judging by her tweets, nasty isn't a word you could use to describe him. But I digress.
Lovelys Vintage Emporium is a veritable treasure trove of vintage goodness. The shop feature both designer and non designer vintage clothing, shoes and accessories in impeccable condition. Many of the items have actually never been worn. The variety is extensive and is a must see site for all you vintage enthusiasts and also for anyone who loves pretty things. Shoes, bags, jewellery, dresses, skirts, tops and blouses are all featured here and the site is well designed and easy to navigate. I spent ages perusing the site over the weekend and instantly fell in love with so many items. My particular favorite is a 1970's Kenzo handbag (really? Are you surprised). This site has something for every budget and every taste.
