An Afternoon by the Lake

As my FTF community post was so popular and well received I think that from now on I’m going to share a lot more of my life with you guys. The thing I enjoy doing most is spending time out with the kids. You’ll never see any photos on here that show my kids faces as I value their privacy above all else but I will share more of what we get up to.

Yesterday was a gloriously sunny day so we ventured over to Willen Lake which is one of our favourite places to go when the weather is nice. It’s located within easy distance of our house and as well as a lake there is a pub, park, ducks to feed and the ever awe inspiring peace pagoda which is a functioning Buddhist temple. It’s so relaxing there and no matter how stressed I am it always chills me out.

This is a collection of photos from the afternoon as well as some outfit pictures from a few days ago. The outfit is mostly thrifted (DKNY Jeans and a simple knit) both items came to a grand total of £14. So sit back, grab a cup of tea (or coffee) and relax. That is the best way to read blogs in my opinion.

  1. It's so funny to think of you as a mama since you're so young and fashionable. Do you have a daughter? She'll be stealing all your clothes when she's a teenager. :)

  6. I am the same about images of my children, and even asked a friend to take pictures of my kids off her Facebook page which was hard to do. I love the new look of your blog and your commitment to eco-chic. You know I am on board with that!

  7. ADORE those shoes, soooooo pretty. Nice pictures, and completely agree with leaving your kids out of pictures. I don't understand people that hand pictures of their kids online for everyone to see.... never quite got that.
