In Love - Rodarte for Opening Ceremony A/W 2011

Rodarte for Opening Ceremony is one of my favourite and most craved for collaborations of recent times. Photographed by Rodarte collaborator Autumn de Wilde, featuring models Stephan Haurholm and twins Gwen and Donna Loos. The collection has a deep rooted Scandinavian influence and I also find it reminiscent of Russia during the time of the Tsar. Muted hues combine with distinct patterns to create a breathtaking collection from Rodarte. Texture and layering is key to this collection and the imagery gives off a dreamy sensation. I LOVE this collection. It's very feminine with lots of ruffles and girly style is my thing. These images wouldn't look out of place in a Lula magazine editorial (and that's a good thing!)

Wah Nails hit Japan

 

Top British nail salon Wah Nails has hit Tokyo. To those who've never heard of them they are a brilliant nail salon based in Dalston, London. They also have a stand in the basement of Topshop on Oxford Street.

They are currently in Tokyo, showing the Japanese that they're not the only ones who can create spectacular nail art. For a company that was only founded last year they are doing amazingly well.

They set up a stand in the store 'Opening Ceremony' and were visited by hoards of Japanese women, many wearing Halloween outfits and even a few of the male species.
